Below is our previous advert. We are looking for someone to cover this job from 6th June - 29th June (as we currently have found someone but they are on a long holiday). Please see below for the outline of the role. Thank you.
We are looking for someone part time to help with our children ideally 4 part days a week. Ideally Monday pm, Tues pm, Thurs all day, Friday all day... but we can chat. Someone who is also happy to do a little food preparation (not cooking) and do light household chores/tidying up (we have a regular cleaner who comes twice a week, you are not expected to do deep cleaning!
We would like you to be kind, honest, fun loving, happy to work hard when needed and to pitch in.
A bit about us: we are a friendly, relaxed family who like being outdoors. We play with our children, and enjoy time together.
Our children are educated at home. We spend a lot of time in our area, playing outside, in the woods, making things, meeting friends, going to shops or restaurants. We meet up with other home educating families, go to playgroups, days out. The children play happily for hours - arts/crafts/nature/fairies (which they still believe are real) and dancing. Our daughter (7) can be bubbly and loud but also enjoys plenty of quiet time, our son (4) is extremely jolly and energetic!

I had spine surgery nearly 1 year ago, and although I am fine with most things now, I still need some help with lifting, tidying, running around after the children, I would like to be able to go out swimming during the week and do various things without the children with me... which is why we need your help.
We have a cleaner 2 days a week (8 hours), so we definitely do not expect you to be a cleaner! However we would like you to be helpful and proactive with tidying up around the house, the kitchen, sweeping the floor if needed after the children have eaten, running any errands, and tidying up lots of toys!
