Maternity Nursing and Childcare Services

With over twenty years of experience in childcare, I provide dedicated, one-to-one Maternity Nursing and Sleep and Behavioural Consultancy services to support new mothers, their newborn babies, and families with children up to the age of sixteen.

Throughout my career, I have developed and refined the essential qualities that define an exceptional maternity nurse — I am conscientious, reliable, punctual, honest, and trustworthy, with excellent communication skills. I approach every family with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner, ensuring that parents feel comfortable, confident, and supported.

I am deeply committed to ensuring that parents, their children, and their families receive the highest standard of care and guidance to promote positive outcomes and experiences.

As an experienced Maternity Nurse, I work within the family home to provide holistic, family-centred care that supports the needs of both parent and baby. My role is to offer reassurance and practical assistance during those important early weeks, allowing parents to rest easy knowing their baby is in safe and capable hands. Whether you require 24-hour care, night-time support, or daytime assistance, I tailor my services to suit your family’s individual needs.

I aim to instil confidence in new parents as they adjust to caring for their newborns, remaining in the home until they feel happy and ready to continue independently. I provide professional advice and support on:

Breastfeeding, formula feeding, and establishing feeding routines

Sleep patterns, routines, and settling techniques

Colic, reflux, and care for premature or multiple babies

Newborn and postnatal care for mothers

Behavioural guidance for infants and children


My duties can also include:

Preparing the home before the baby’s arrival

Antenatal breastfeeding education and preparation

Baby laundry and nursery maintenance

Night feeds and sleep support

Feeding and sleeping advice

Accompanying parents on baby’s first outings

Running errands and light household tasks

Dog walking and general family support


In addition to my maternity nursing expertise, I am also a qualified Sleep and Behavioural Consultant with over twenty years of experience helping families establish healthy sleep habits and manage behavioural challenges with confidence and compassion.

My approach is nurturing, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual family — ensuring that every child and parent receives the care, structure, and reassurance they need to thrive.
