About Me
My name is Sonia, and i am looking to see if i can find my next long-term working family ,,,,
My current job requires 4 weeks' notice. Unfortunately, i can not start straight away ,
At present i am employed full-time time by the NHS and work in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, as a Thearte Health Care Support Worker, i am currently based in the Neurosurgery Thearte, however i do circulate around when required. I started my NHS journey in December 2021 , this was due to getting made redundant from my Nanny /housekeeping job ,sadly with covid hitting hard, the family no longer required a Nanny, and it was time for me to move on .
I was truly blessed with my work family , as the family was kind,caring, and lots of fun ! So we were well matched and worked together as a team . Every day was an adventure in the countryside as all our time was spent outdoors regardless of the weather ! I am a firm believer that children should spend as much time as possible outside ,getting muddy and exploring !
Ideally, i am searching for a family who require long-term help and who are easy going :) I am open to offers and can be flexible with times/days .3.5 days would be perfect, and I would be happy to do overnights/weekends.
out with work, I am a fairly active individual, I love the outdoors and the peace that it brings .I love getting my boots on on heading into the Forrest, regardless of the Scottish weather! ;)
In my spare time, I also teach at a local Martial Arts gym and have been actively involved with the running of the gym now for 12 years now. I work with children and adults and enjoy every moment of it. It's a labour of love job, I'd say:)

My Experience
I have had 3 long term work families, and 23 years experience with working with children with all ages, and stages of development. Prior to my Nanny work, I have 8 years of experience , working within a nursery setting , at senior level.
Out with my work experience, I am a mother to a beautiful teenage daughter. who I have brought up on my own . I would say real life is the best teacher of all . My daughter is kind , caring , respectful and would go above and beyond to help anyone. I'd say iv done a great job :)
