My Experience

I am a kind, caring, reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, and organised childcare professional with many years of experience working with children of all ages. I am firm but fair in my approach, ensuring children feel safe, valued, and supported while maintaining clear boundaries and routines.

Throughout my career, I have worked within nurseries, a village pre-school, an independent private primary school, and as a private nanny. In my nanny role, I had sole charge of four wonderful children, supporting their daily routines, learning, development, and wellbeing. I am proud to have built strong relationships with the families and settings I have worked with and can provide excellent references upon request.

I am passionate about creating nurturing, stimulating environments where children can learn, explore, develop confidence, and reach their full potential through play and positive experiences.

My Qualifications

I am a Level 3 qualified childcare professional with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Paediatric First Aid certification, up-to-date Safeguarding training to Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) level, and a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.

I hold an enhanced DBS check, a full clean driving licence, and have over 21 years of experience working with children and young people aged 0-18 years across a variety of childcare settings and homes.

As a mother myself, I also bring valuable first-hand parenting experience. In addition, I have training and practical experience supporting children with additional needs and special educational needs personally and in a job role.

I have completed a wide range of further professional development courses, including Autism Awareness, Prevent, Safeguarding (DSL), and other childcare-related training.

My Availability

I am available for local babysitting during evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

I am also seeking a part-time or full-time flexible nanny position. Depending on the location, working hours, and whether it is term time or school holidays, there may be occasions when my son would accompany me.

My Fees

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
