About Me
We are a fun, warm and busy family looking for a fantastic ad hoc babysitter to become part of our world and spend time with our two wonderful boys.
Our eldest son, Louis (14), is non-verbal and has a learning disability. He is incredibly happy, affectionate and engaging with a huge personality. Louis absolutely loves letters and numbers, thrives on adventure, and is happiest either out exploring or relaxing on his iPad. He’s a real thrill seeker — rollercoasters at Chessington are his idea of heaven — and he also loves swimming, trampolines, swings and trips to the park. His joy and enthusiasm are infectious, and he brings so much fun and energy wherever he goes.
Our youngest, Seth (9), is confident, independent, energetic and great company. He’s sociable, chatty and always up for fun, games and adventures. T
We also have Axel, our very friendly 4-year-old cockerpoo - there is never a dull moment in this house!
My Requirements
We are looking for regular ad hoc care for our eldest son, Louis, and occasionally both boys, during evenings, weekends and school holidays.
*We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who can commit to Monday's in term time 4-7 in order for me to get our youngest to a swimming lesson*
This role would suit someone caring, energetic and proactive who enjoys getting out and about and creating fun experiences for children and young people. Louis loves adventures, parks, swimming, trampolines, days out and anything exciting and engaging, so we’re hoping to find someone who would genuinely enjoy spending time with him and supporting him to make the most of his weekends and holidays.
The ideal person would be comfortable supporting with all aspects of personal care for Louis. Experience with additional needs is preferred, but we are equally open to students or those looking to build experience in childcare, SEND or therapy-related fields. We are very happy to provide informal training and support for the right person.
Ultimately, we are hoping to build a small team of trusted PA carers who can become familiar faces within our family — supporting Louis to have fun, gain independence and, over time, enabling us to occasionally enjoy a night away knowing he is happy and well cared for.
