About Me
Ive been a childminder for 20 years and have two grown up boys aged 21 and 25. My youngest son still lives with me. I live with my partner and love to welcome children of any ethnic race and gender into my home to teach them new skills, watch them grow and help them develop. I am an accredited childminder and can offer free places to two, three and four year olds. Im a non smoker and work hard to provide a stimulating environment. I am very caring and am able to be flexible to meet both childrens and parents needs alike. I enjoy my job and strive to provide an excellent safe, secure and happy enviroment where the children can relax and enjoy their time and learn and develop new skills.
I had my last ofsted inspection in october 2014 and my provision was graded outstanding of which i am very proud and delighted with
Children are taken on regular outings and visits and i attend local toddler groups so not only do the children get to build their relationships with me but develop new skills and experience new activities through different environments..I also have a large garden where the children can enjoy outdoor play.
Im a member of the National Childminding Association and have public liability insurance in place.
My Experience
I have always had good reports from ofsted with the last inspection in oct 2014 achieving an outstanding grade in all units. . I have completed my NVQ level three, have paediatric first aid training and am trained in type 1 diabetic treatment of insulin.. I have had many children in my 20 years of work and have much experience in all aspects of child care. I regularly attend courses on offer to keep my knowledge updated.
I have safeguarding children training level 1, 2 and 3.
I have many references and letters of recommendation from previous parents.

NVQ level 3 in 2010.. Full certificates attained. First aid trained

monday to Thursday 7.30am to 6pm.
Hours outside these can be arranged in advance and priced accordingly
