About Me

Hi, my name is Melissa and I love working with children and animals.
I am a 31 year old, farmers wife, mum of three and have previously been both a nanny and a teacher.

I’m currently not looking for anything permanent as my girls are still young (2,3,5 years old) and very much need me at home. My children are currently in school and childcare (at points in the week, so I have school/childcare pick ups every day.

As I am at home but juggling drop offs and pick ups I may be able to help Ad-Hock or within the windows of time where I am not needed by my family, however as I have mentioned above, I am unable to commit to anything regular right now.

When I was teaching (before children - but have chosen not to return until my children are in full time education themselves) I had both my First Aid and DBS, I have removed them from my profile now - as these will technically be out of date. I am in the process of getting a new DBS with my daughter's school so that I can be used as an extra pair of hands for trips and class reading etc.
