My Experience

I have worked as a nanny since I was 17, helping to care for children from 3 months to 9 years old. I have experience as a nanny for up to 4 children at a time and also as a mothers help, being a second pair of hands alongside a parent.
I love watching children find confidence in being themselves and discovering their skills, as well as learning through play and experiencing the outdoors.
Some of my roles have involved support with home schooling, housework, cooking and shopping. I have taken children to forest school, toddler groups, sing and sign and after school activities.

I am also a qualified counsellor, so bring a lot of empathy and a non-judgmental approach to my work, as well as a theoretical understanding of child development and attachment theory.

I have held a full driving license for over 20 years, driven children and young people as part of my work and have business insurance on my car.

I worked for a year as a mentor for children and teenagers with SEN needs that prevented them engaging in mainstream school, so have a lot of experience working to find strategies to communicate in ways that work for each child.

I am looking for a part or full time position as a nanny/mother's help/nanny-housekeeper. I hope I can help you with your childcare needs and can contribute to your family functioning at its best!

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
