About Me
I have been a Registered Childminder for 5 years.
My Ofsted Report is Good.
I have a NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People.
I live in a 4 bedroom property with a garden and downstairs bathroom, where I provide childcare in a clean safe and welcoming environment.
I provide planned activities inline with the EYFS.
I attend my local Childing Minding dropping center once a week where the children can take part in various activities to enhance their learning and development and to interact with other children. I also attend Toddlers Group and parks in my local area with the children.
My Experience
My working experience is with Children & Families Social Services, I was employed as a Referral Officer with Social Services for 15 years, receiving telephone referrals from the public who had concerns for children and their families facing financial difficulties or who might be in need of protection. I also made visits to assess families needs.
Through restructuring I was made redundant. I decided to go for childminding to help provide care and support for my grandchildren and to provide a chidcare service for other parents.
I have also brought up 3 children of my own who are all grown up and have children of their own.
My Qualifications
Diploma in Home base Childcare.
NVQ Level 3 Caring for Children & Young People
My Availability
I am available from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, school terms and during school holidays
I provide school drop off and school pick ups in my local area.
Also weekends care can be arranged if needed.
