About Me
Hello my name is Motia Begum and I live with my husband and four children.
I have been an ofsted registered childminder since 2015 and have over 21 years of experience working with children.
I live in a three bedroom chalet banglow. It is a five minute walk to Manor Field primary school and a five minute walk to St Andrews playgroup.
I have a large enclosed secure garden with a variety of outside toys, activities for all ages and a vegetable patch for children to grow their own vegetables.
We regularly visit a variety of toddler groups, childminder drop-ins, family centres and local parks. We also have days out to Washbrook farm and Wakehurst place.
I love working with children and I work hard to form a close partnership with their parents for the well-being of the children to reach their full potential.
My Experience
I have worked in Manor Field primary school as a mid day meals supervisor.
I have also worked as a volunteer in a multicultural group based in Haywards Heath, duties included organising events , looking after children, planning activities.
My Qualifications
GCSE 's in Maths and English
Training in How to set up a home-based Childcare Service.
Certificate in Early Years Practice level 2
Paediactric First Aid level 2
The seven Areas of learning and development training in EYFS .
Introduction to Child Protection certificate
Certificate in food and hygiene level 2
My Availability
I am available from Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 6pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My fees are £6.50 per child per hour

Our children have been at Motias for the last few years. You can see how much our children love spending time with Motia and seem very happy at drop off. They do a variety of activities including local playgroups, lots of play time in the garden and often come home with crafts they have done during the day.
Motia has been very flexible with drop off and pick up times, our children feel like part of the family.

We’ve used Motia for years now. She has looked after all three of my little girls and they absolutely love going to her for the day. Motia does fun things with the children everyday from groups to planned crafting sessions. The girls always come home with lots of art work and beaming smiles. I’m regularly updated throughout the day with photos and they’re always so happy! It’s been wonderful having a local childminder and we couldn’t have been happier with Motia. If I could give her more than 5 stars I really would. She goes above and beyond and we’re so happy to have her in our lives!

Motia looked after my now 6 year old when he was preschool age, when it was time for him to move onto primary school I was pregnant and was lucky that Motia was kind enough to secure a place for our youngest when my maternity leave ended. He has been with her for nearly a year now and absolutely loves going there. Motia sends me photos during the day so I can see what they have been up to and he often comes home with lovely creations he has made, they go for days out and enjoy lots of different activities.
I highly recommend Motia to anyone looking for a childminder!

We feel very lucky to have Motia looking after our two sons. She has been amazing from day one, always friendly and reliable!
The boys love Motia and look forward to the days she collects them from school. Her house is always filled with laughter and Motia's family are very kind.
She takes the boys to the park after school, or they play at her house in a beautiful, dedicated playroom and lovely big garden.
Motia is very flexible which has saved me many times when my train was delayed/ cancelled.
We would highly recommend Motia as a childminder, she is just wonderful 🧡

Our little boy started with Motia at just 1 years old and although I was anxious to leave him and go back to work Motia made me instantly feel at ease to leave him. She treats him as if he's her own and you can see she has built a really good bond with him and cares for him so much. Her house is so spacious and very clean with lots of toys, plenty of opportunities to learn and a lovely garden. My little one absolutely loves going to her and gets excited whenever we pull up to her house- she is very gentle, loving and caring of each one of the children she looks after. My little boy has learnt so much since going to her and progressed so much in such a short space of time. We will miss her so much when my little one goes to preschool after building such a good relationship with her and her family, we have already said we'd love to come back and visit 💙 we honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better!

We feel honoured to have Motia looking after our two daughters. She quickly established an amazing bond with both of them (even our "lockdown baby") and they absolutely adore her. Motia is a natural with children, and is genuine, kind, calm, professional, experienced and always smiling! Children flourish in her care with the love she shows them in a safe and nurturing environment. Our "lockdown baby" has grown so much more independent and confident with Motia's help and gentle understanding.
Motia takes them to different toddler groups, the park and other childminder's houses, so they have a lot of interaction with other children. They do crafts, messy play and water play in the garden. They have had great fun in the summer holidays going on trips to the splashpark and farm, and can't wait to go back the next day!
The whole family are kind and go out of their way to help. Motia is very reliable and adaptable, she has never had any time off with illness and has always accommodated last minute changes with a smile.
We feel so blessed that they are safe and loved in Motia's care. We can not recommend her highly enough.

We would highly recommend Motia as a childminder, our 2 year old son was very happy with her. She provides varied activities to the children that she cares for, including crafts, outdoor play and feeding the birds, trips to the park and toddler groups. I found Motia to be very flexible and accommodating with day or time changes when my work hours changed. We were looking for a home-from-home, kind and caring setting for our son's childcare, and found exactly that with Motia.

Motia is a fantastic childminder. She's been looking after my oldest boy since he was 11 months old (now 4), and my youngest since he was 12 months (now 18 months). Motia has so much love to give the children she looks after and has been so flexible to help me out when changes crop up. She is great at nurturing my boys and helping them to settle and they both love spending time with her and the other children. We also get photos sent to us regularly so we can see what the boys are up to. My oldest is now coming to the end of his time with Motia (as he will be starting school) and I know he's really going to miss her. Highly recommend.
