About Me

Hello, I'm Vicky I've been an Ofsted registered childminder with over 15 + year's experience, and I have been rated Good by Ofsted.

I am friendly, approachable and genuinely passionate about caring for children. Over the years, I have found childminding incredibly rewarding, and I love watching children grow in confidence, develop new skills and become independent little people.

I provide a warm, safe and nurturing home-from-home environment where children can feel comfortable, happy and cared for. My home is clean, welcoming and Ofsted inspected, with a wide range of toys, books and equipment suitable for babies, toddlers and school age children.

Fun Learning & Adventure:
I believe children learn best when they are having fun and exploring the world around them.

We enjoy a mixture of activities and outings including:

Age appropriate toys, books and imaginative play
Arts and crafts
Baking and homemaking activities
Planting flowers and vegetables in the garden
Exploring and playing in the garden
Watching caterpillars turn into butterflies
Visits to local farms
Soft play
Toddler groups
Parks and outdoor adventures

I regularly take the children out to local groups and places where they can make friends, develop their confidence and enjoy new experiences.

I Follow the Early Years Foundation stage ( EYFS) and take the time to get to know each child as an individual. I observe their interests, strengths, and development and use these observations to plan activities that support their next steps in learning.

Whether your child loves getting creative, exploring outdoors, building with toys, looking at books or simply enjoying imaginative play, I aim to encourage curiosity, confidence and a love a learning.

Most importantly, I want children in my care to feel safe, valued, listened to and happy.

I believe that good communication with parents is really important, and I work with families to make sure each child receives the care and support that is right for them.
