The Best Childminder We Could Have Asked For

We couldn’t have wished for a better childminder than Donna. From the very beginning, she made our daughter feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Every day our daughter came home happy and was always excited to go back, which gave us complete peace of mind.
When our daughter started with Donna, she spoke very little English. Thanks to Donna’s patience, kindness, and encouragement, her confidence has grown tremendously and her English has improved so much. She has also learned many new skills and developed both socially and emotionally.

Donna is always warm, approachable, and willing to help. She genuinely cares about every child and creates a nurturing, fun, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Donna has become part of our family, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done for our daughter. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, trustworthy, and exceptional childminder. We couldn’t have made a better choice. A home away from home

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Donna. For three and a half years, she has been a constant source of joy, comfort, and stability. From the very beginning, she created a place where our little ones felt safe, loved, and completely themself. There was always so much excitement for “Donna days,” and the happiness afterwards said everything — the crafts, the games the adventures, and all the funny moments with the other “little pickles.” These memories will stay with us forever. Donna helped our child grow from a 9‑month‑old baby into a confident, sassy, hilarious little person who’s ready for new adventures. She isn’t just a childminder — she’s part of our family, someone we trust and appreciate more than words can say. You can tell that she genuinely cares about the children and loves what she does.

Outstanding childminder

A beautiful, kind and caring childminder. Donna is amazing with my boys and they absolutely love her; this year my sons birthday falls on a day with Donna and I gave him the choice of mummy and daddy collecting him from school or going to Donna, and he said he’d like to still see Donna on his birthday! This to me just demonstrates how much fun and love he has for his childminder. They have known each other since he was 4 years old and now nearly 10 they have a trust and an unbreakable bond that can never be broken. Donna gives a lovely additional motherly, extended family feel that both my boys adore. They are always happy and smily at collection. She is a star! Could not recommend highly enough.

Outstanding Childminder

Our son has been with Donna from a young age and he has absolutely loved being looked after by Donna. He is always happy and excited to be spending the day with her and loves seeing all his friends there. Donna, has provided a very caring, supportive and fun home environment in which our son has thrived. Her communication has always been excellent, with both children and parents, the children have a wide variety of activities during the day including plenty of time outside.
Donna provides school run for our two children also.We highly recommend her for anyone looking for top quality, reliable, caring childminder.

Outstanding!

I cannot recommend Donna highly enough! She is kind, caring and lots of fun. She will go above and beyond for your children and is incredibly flexible too. She is honest, trustworthy and reliable and ensures that all children in her care are safe and well cared for.

Cannot recommend highly enough

Donna was recommended to me by a friend and I feel so lucky to have found her! My daughter (2) is so happy to go to her and Donna spent time helping her to get settled in the early days. Donna is a very warm, kind person and has such a lovely way with children - I think she was born to work with them! She will also try and accommodate you if you request a bit of extra help/swapping around. My daughter always has a lovely time when she's with Donna and often brings home crafts she's made, plus I get regular photos showing what she's up to.

Amazing Childminder!

Donna has been amazing whilst caring for my 2 year old daughter. She is so caring and provides lots of activities based on my daughter's interests. Her house and garden is lovely and safe.
I always receive a full run down of what has happened within the day everytime I collect. My daughter has been very happy being in Donna's care.
I would 100% recommend her.

Amazing childminder

Donna is an amazing childminder she childminded my daughter for 2 years and was the best carer for my daughter, Donna herself is always happy jolly and always smiling and making the kiddies laugh too she also does numerous of activities with the kiddies at home or outdoors no matter the weather Donna has always got time to entertain all the children she also has loving caring friendly house environment and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking for a childminder. The only reason Donna doesn't care for my daughter now is that I have moved out of the area otherwise my daughter would still be attending. Donna has now become a very good friend to me and my family and I was sad when I told her my daughter would be moving.

The Best!

My daughter has been going to Donna for the past 2.5 years since she was 11 months old, and I couldn’t wish for a better childminder.
Donna is always professional and has a lovely manner with the children- she is bubbly, kind, and gentle. She is also flexible and will always help out when she can. My daughter enjoys a variety of activities with Donna from arts and crafts, pretend play, going to the park, exploring on walks, and she will do activities based on her interests to aid her learning. Her house and garden are lovely and my daughter has thrived spending her time in the homely environment with Donna being able to dedicate so much time and attention to her
. I trust Donna completely and my son will also be starting with her in September when my maternity leave ends.
I feel very lucky that Donna looks after my children making my time at work much easier knowing they’re in safe hands and happy.

Highly recommended!

She is absolutely brilliant. She was really kind with us all the time. My daughter was happy and smiled. Donna was really flexible. Amazing service! :)
