My Summary

My Experience

I have 14 years experience and have worked in a day nursery and experienced a nanny position.

I have been a manager at a local nursery, so have a lot of knowledge on milestones for children and how to stimulate them with appropriate activities.

Within my position at the nursery I was running the 3-5's age room and was Deputy Manager. I provided the children with stimulating activities and prepared and followed through creative work with the children.

I wrote reports ready for school and ensured they were reaching milestones in their development.

I organised trips to Cotswold wildlife park, to the Theatre, and local museums with Dinosaurs!

My role as a Nanny, I prepared and cooked nutrious meals for the children in my care, and did many cooking activities as well.

I went to local toddler groups, and art and crafts classes for the children to experience.

I ensured that i was planning exciting things for the children to do everyday, allowing them to be stimulated throughout the day.

I am also a fully qualified Swimming instructor and have recently started my own business of a keepsake teddy bear maker where I make treasured keepsakes from babys/adult clothing into teddy bears and other animals.

My Qualifications

I currently hold a Level 3 in Childcare and have recently completed my Level 4 in Childcare and Education.

I hold my Paediatric First Aid which i completed in may 2016.

I have my Basic Food Hygiene and a certificate in Infection Control.

I hold a BTEC Advanced Award In Safeguarding children.

I have up to date Early Years Foundation Stage Training.

I have been on Ofsted Training,Training for New and engaging ideas for babies, Talking to Parents Training and common childhood disease Training.
