My Experience
I have 30 years experience in caring for other people's children,from birth,including multiples ,toddlers and complex special needs children.
I was an Ofsted Registered Childminder for over 30 Years,gaining Outstanding Ofsted Inspection Reports, and a Millennium Award for promoting Ofsted Registered Childminding ,before Re-Training as a Maternity Nurse and working nationwide, caring for new born babies and siblings.
I am Level 3 Qualified (Pre-school Learning Alliance Diploma In Pre-School Practice)
I am also a Trained Maternity Nurse (Tinies Childcare,London)
I have also enjoyed 7 years as the manager/ practitioner of a thriving pre-school , increasing the Ofsted grade .
I temporarily took a break in my career to care for my elderly mother ( who also had a very long career caring for babies - 70 years)
I am now in the process of re- registering with Ofsted to provide home from home childcare/ early education , specialising in Babies and toddlers.
Sorry I don't provide before/ after school care
My day is completely planned around the babies/ toddlers needs with no school runs to do .
A maximum of 3/4 babies/ toddlers ensures personalised care ,in a lovely home environment located on the edge of Leyburn ,overlooking farm fields with animals.
I also have a lovely playroom,full of beautiful eco friendly wooden toys which opens out into a large garden.
I hold a current Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certificate and Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate .
I hold public Liability Insurance and am a member of Pacey -( professional association of childcare and early years ) in order to keep up to date with current guidelines and enable me to complete further online training.
