Hello Nannies,
We are Chiswick-based and looking for a reliable, kind, and organized after-school nanny to care for our two children, aged 11 and 8. We’re looking for someone warm and dependable to stay with us long-term.
The role involves after-school care, Monday to Friday, 3pm–7pm (around 20 hours per week). During school holidays, additional hours (8am-6pm) will be required..
Salary: depending on experience
Location: Chiswick, W4.
Our son (11) comes home independently by school bus and needs supervision with homework. Our daughter (8) needs to be collected from school (about a 30-minute walk or 10 minutes by tube), supported with her homework, snack, and shower routine.
Main duties include:
School pick-up for our daughter and drop-offs to activities.
Supervising homework (good English required).
Managing the children’s laundry (washing and folding).
Keeping children’s rooms and play areas tidy and organised (no deep cleaning – we have a cleaner).
Encouraging independence and responsibility (e.g. tidying up, making beds).
Additional details:
Occasional babysitting (usually one evening per week, Thursday or Friday – paid as overtime).
Extra hours may be available during school holidays.
Requirements:
Previous experience with children of similar ages.
Excellent level of English (for homework support).
Valid DBS and Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Reliable, caring, and organised.
Looking for someone long-term.
