My name is Claire Dewhurst and I have worked full time as a nanny since 2015 in the UK & in France for working professionals & high profile families.
As a highly professional and reliable employee, I am enthusiastic and adaptable. I work well as a sole charge nanny, as well as being part of a team in a fully staffed household. I have excellent organisational skills and can manage a busy work load effectively. I am friendly and trustworthy. I enjoy making healthy meals from fresh ingredients as well as baking with the children.
Using my Primary Education degree, I ensure that my time spent with children is engaging and stimulating. I am creative and enjoy looking after children, developing their learning through games and activities as well as encouraging them with their education, social interaction and skills to help them in life.
I have a full UK driving license.
My interests include reading, cooking, cycling and travelling. I am sociable and love to learn and experience new things.
My Experience
I have experience working with children aged 3months - 18 years old. I have worked for families with up to 7 children so I can handle busy households!
My responsibilities have varied from nappy changing, bottle feeding, bathing, potty training etc to doing the school run, cooking, helping with homework, dropping kids off at tutors and activities, tutoring the children myself, getting the children ready for bed and spending fun time with them by either going out to the park/cinema etc or doing something in the house like painting or baking!
I have done a lot of travelling with families which involves packing and unpacking the children’s suitcases, assisting the children on the plane, taking them to the pool / beach / skiing etc, general holiday activities, assisting at meal times and making sure the children have suncream on, staying hydrated etc.
My Qualifications
I have 10 GCSE's, 3 A-levels and a degree in Primary education
