About Me
I believe that children learn from discovery through play, and from being given plenty of opportunities to have lots of different experiences offered in fun and interesting ways, so that they are enabled to pursue the things that interest them the most. I love devising new ways to support the holistic development of each child and to encourage learning in a nurturing and caring environment where they have room to grow and build resilience independently.
With 30 years experience working in childcare and education, I have gained many skills and qualifications along the way.I am a level 3 Forest School leader and a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. I have qualifications to support speech, language and communication, also a firm knowledge of SEND practices and the EYFS framework.

My Experience
I have worked in childcare all my adult life (30 yrs!). This has included; Nannying, babysitting, Nursery Nurse in Day Nurseries and wrap around care. However, I have mainly built my career in primary education where I have worked for many years as a Teaching Assistant and progressed to a HLTA within Foundation, Early Years and KS1 covering classes and teachers PPA time or leading Forest School sessions. I have achieved different skills through personal development opportunities and training, to include; Speech and Language, various SEND training, Early Years Professional Development and Forest School training.
I have Autism experience and training and have worked 1:1 supporting children with Autism.
My Qualifications
N.N.E.B and Montessori trained. Honours Degree in Humanities. TEFL and Elklan trained. CPD certificates in Autism training. HLTA Diploma and Level 3 Forest School training. First Aid, Prevent and Safeguarding trained. Plus, other childcare related certificates. DBS through all and current position.

My Fees
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
15.00ph or a flat daily rate can be negotiated.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Kyson Primary School
