My Summary

My Experience

I've had about 11 years experience in working with children solely on my own and in a nursery setting. From my teens I volunteered at a Brownies girl guiding group for 4 years working with young children helping them learn new skills. I've also had experience in and out of a primary schools and holiday clubs working with various aged children. I was a nanny for a pregnant mother from 2014-2015 (before I went off to university), taking her 4 year old daughter to school in the morning and picking her up after, where she would stay with me at my home until her mum came home from work (up to 11pm). With her mum being in and out of hospital during labour she also stayed at my home overnight. Also helped the mother do some tasks she was unable to do, like taking her daughter to visit her at the hospital, going to the shop for her, some housework etc. I was also recently a nanny for a family with 2 children from 2018 to 2022 doing the school pick ups, extra curricular activities, dinner, homework, bath, bed and just general day care in the holidays. I have also lived with my niece from birth and have been involved in her care from about 5months till present (8 years old). I also am a Level 6 practioner previously working in a nursery pre-school so I am very much qualified and very much experienced. I am also a special educational needs coordinator at my current setting.
My current family I am with, the children are getting older and becoming much more dependent so won't need me for much longer unfortunately.

My Qualifications

GCSEs in Maths, English Language & Literature, Triple Science, Religious Education, Spanish, Catering and Drama.
BTEC Level in Sports and Information Technology.
A Levels in Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies.
Level 2 Health and safety in the workplace, food safety in catering, principles of manual handling
Degree in early childhood studies.

• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
