Dedicated career nanny with 9 years of childcare experience with ages 0-14. I have worked in all aspects of childcare including nannying, childminding and nursery setting.
I truly believe the work I do is more important than any other job in the world and my passion for it shows. I'm focused on both cognitive and emotional development, I believe in the power of words (and cuddles) and like to think I'm helping raise some wonderful human beings. I also believe in having a good relationship with the parents and working together to ensure the best possible environment for the children.
I am young and full of energy but highly experienced and fully qualified so you can assure your child will have fun and productive days attending daily play groups, parks, libraries, soft plays, swimming and more whilst ensuring their development needs are met.
I very much enjoy cooking - I always say if I wasn’t a nanny I’d probably be a chef! I have bundles of nutritious recipes to share and I’m happy to make extra for parents to enjoy after a long day at work.
I have good knowledge of the EYFS and plan my days accordingly whilst logging the children’s development. My main priorities are to keep the children in my care happy and safe.
I am an expert in nanny-shares and more than happy to help first time parents on their nanny-share journey figure out the logistics and fill you with all the information you will need for your nanny share arrangement to run smoothly.
I have no children of my own or any massive commitments so I am very flexible and available for over night stays and travelling with the family.

Megan looked after our girls (girls 6 and 10) for three and a half months this year, as an after-school nanny and then in the summer holidays. She was great! She is calm and patient and fantastic at planning activities out and about with the girls that they really enjoyed. She was able to give them a structured but fun time, incorporating trips to playground, museums, cinema, parks etc and also doing activities such as baking and treasure hunts at home, as well as preparing them a healthy meal. She is very organised and reliable and an excellent communicator, as well as being always pleasant and adaptable. Thank you Megan for all the help you gave our family!

Megan looked after our son from the age of 8 months, alongside another 7 month old baby (nanny share) full time, and we highly recommend her. She has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She has boundless energy, is extremely patient and kind with the babies, who absolutely adore her. She's thoughtful about their needs, and their development, especially during the pandemic where there have been no playgroups or gymboree open. Despite this, she's always finding new creative things to do with them, and encouraging them as they grow.
As well as being great with the children, she has also been a pleasure for us to work with. She has communicated really well during the contract process and also day-to-day. She's very mature, no drama and always calm, reliable and punctual. Nothing fazes Megan, even when there are two very vocal under one's keeping her on her toes! We've been working from home during the pandemic, and she's always a pleasure to have around the house. We've loved having Megan be part of our families - thank you so much for everything!

Megan has been caring for my 5 year old daughter since she was practically born and has been fantastic. Megan always has a smile on her face, is reliable and my daughter can’t wait for her next visit!!
Even though Megan only has Heidi 3-6 hours at a time whenever I come home Heidi has learnt a ton of new things and is always excited to tell me what she has learnt from Megan. Megan has also helped massively with Heidi’s confidence/socialising issues. You can tell she loves what she does and the children love her right back!!

Megan has been looking after our two year old son for the past 6 months and I would highly recommend her. She has been a great support to us, reliable, punctual and more importantly developed a strong bond with our son. She knows the area well and has taken him to lots of playgroups/toddler activities, keeping him as active as possible. She has also been key in helping to teach our son not to bite (!) - we have seen a massive improvement since she had been with us.
Had it not been for us moving out of the area, we would have continued working with Megan. She will be missed, especially by my son.
