Hello! I'm Claire and I'm an experienced childcare professional of 13 years from Branston near Lincoln. I am 31 years old
I love to bake , have fun , explore new places and do amature dramatics :)
i am Passionate about giving every child I encounter the love and learning experiences they truly deserve! I love creative and messy play as well as fun learning games too. I love taking children on outings to feed the ducks and run around in the woods at the park. I can do light House work however nanny only duties are preferred I.e children's cooking, laundry and keeping clean and tidy of areas used.

My Experience

I worked in a nursery in Lincoln for 7 and a half years. There I worked in all rooms from babies 3months to 5 years. I provided all aspects of care using the eyfs system.
I now have been a nanny for 6 years which I love! I have worked shared charge leading to sole charge when the mother returned to work, with a family with a 3 year old girl and 6 month twins - there I helped with all aspects of baby care and exciting providing lots of activties and outings to keep them busy. The children are now 10 and 7 how time flys!
I then worked sole charge on a farm with 1 little girl who was 3. We went on lots of walks and together we took an active role in looking after the chickens and dogs. We loved to go on fun outings and I provided all Meals and took are of all childcare related duties
I also worked as a mothers help / sole charge nanny whilst the mum had surgery . This included getting the children washed and dressed in the mornings providing activties and meals and stimulating them with lots of fun things to do! We loved going on walks together too and exploring the local areas . These children were 13months and 4 years .
Since sept 2015 i nannied full time abroad in a live in position .. This was for a family with a baby boy and a 3 year old girl .. this family is bi-lingual so Although I was employed to speak English , adapting to understand some French was required.
2018 - Dec 2020
I returned to Lincoln UK where I worked as a nursery nurse in a day nursery. I lead the toddler room at times and planned and prepped activties for both the baby and toddler rooms
Jan 2021 - currant
Teaching assistant at a primary school working in reception
In the afternoons i am a housekeeper at a care home
All of my previous nanny families and settings are happy to provide references should they be required :)
My Qualifications
I hold the following:
level 3 cache diploma in childcare and education (NNEB)
DBS checked (CRB)
Peadiatric first aid
Food hygiene (refresher in process)
Team leadership
I will update my public liability insurance should I obtain a new nanny contract which will be with morton michel
I also have a full clean driving licence and own a car
My Availability
I am available for occasional evening babysitting.

Claire was a wonderful nanny to my 3 year old daughter for almost 2 years. Claire worked part time 2 days a week and took sole charge of my daughter while at home and on trips into town or local parks etc. Claire was a fun fabulous caring and attentive nanny who provided lots of learning opportunities such as baking cakes (lots of banana bread!) Painting and art, walks in the countryside, shopping trips etc. My daughter adored nanny Claire, and loved to share music and fun with her. My daughter became quite a little pop princess!
Claire cooked meals (she's a good cook and even better at cakes!) and helped to keep my daughters room tidy. I particularly miss her doing the routine clothes cull which is required with a child growing this fast! Life as a single mum was much easier with her around, and her support was invaluable.
I always felt confident that Claire was able to nurture my daughter in my absence, and make informed decisions on my behalf. We shared views on discipline and parenting so my daughter had very consistent boundaries. I could trust her decisions and can honestly say she provided a wonderful stable role model and positive influence in the development of my little girl.
When the time came we were very sad to say goodbye to nanny Claire. She certainly did a wonderful job, and we have many fond memories of her time with us.
Claire is a natural with children, and it's clear she truly loves her job.
I would recommend Claire to anyone looking for childcare.

Claire had sole charge of our 3 year old and 6 month old twins for 18 months from June 2013. She was very quick to learn to take control of the home and family during my days at work and was very much loved and respected by all of us, we took her on our family holiday to help out and share our special places with her. Claire is a great listener and very patient. It was a very sad day the day we all had to say goodbye, but we keep in regular contact and the children still love her as we do too. A professional young lady; who will be highly sought after, you heard it here first!
