I am a lovely and sociable person and enjoy being a mum! I have a lovely little family and home. I have an 16 year old son, a 7 year old daughter. My partner is called Rob. I have a lovely large garden where children can play and enjoy the outside all year round. I also have access to a huge park just over from my house. I enjoy being out and about and exploring our local area, walking and investigating : )
All my activities are linked to the EYFS and I regularly check children's development and feel its vitality important in involving parents in their child's development.
My ethos is to encourage confidence in all the children I care for, which in turn makes them shine and develop beautifully.
I have recently hired an assistant which has changed our day enabling more learning opportunities within my setting.
My Experience
I have been working with children and young people for over 25 years and been a childminder for nearly 10 years. I started helping a Guildford college when I was 16 in their department for young adults who had a variety of disabilities. I went on to do a CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education and then an HND in Social Care Studies when I was 20. I have a wide range of experience ranging from being a full time mum, nanny, nursery nurse to a room leader in nurseries, teaching assistant within schools. I'm trained with key stage 1 and 2 and very confident at using the EYFS. I've also had experience in care with the elderly within hospitals.
I have always worked with little people and I'm very confident at what I do.
I currently have 13 children I care for over the course of the week and have a brilliant relationship with all the children's parents.
I've been a childminder since July 2015 and adore what I do. I am a very family orientated person and believe all the children I care for have a home from home environment so they feel happy and safe.

My Fees

I charge £8 per hour (which includes breakfast, a home cooked lunch and a home cooked main meal, menu available )
I take childcare vouchers. Government Funding available.
