I honestly couldn’t recommend Claire highly enough.

Frankie started with Claire when he was just 14 months old, and from day one she has been absolutely incredible. Every week she plans lovely days out and exciting activities for the children, giving them so many amazing experiences while helping them learn and grow.

Since being with Claire, Frankie has absolutely blossomed. His speech, confidence and understanding of numbers have come on so much, and we constantly hear comments about how advanced he is for his age. I truly believe that’s down to the love, care and dedication Claire has shown him over the years.

One thing that has always meant so much to us is how amazing Claire has been with Frankie’s milk allergy. She provides his breakfast, lunch and dinner four days a week and has always gone above and beyond to cater for his needs. From buying vegan butter, vegan cheese and plant-based pesto to making sure he always has a delicious alternative whenever the other children are eating something he can’t have, she has never once made him feel different or left out. As a parent, that level of care is priceless.

Over the years, Claire has become so much more than just Frankie’s childminder—she has become part of our family. We are absolutely heartbroken that it’s time for Frankie to move on to big school, and I honestly can’t believe this chapter has come to an end. Although we’re sad to be leaving, I know Claire will always have a special place in our lives.

Thank you, Claire, for loving Frankie as if he were one of your own, for always keeping him safe and happy, for the endless cuddles when he needed them, and for giving him the very best start in life. There is no one else I would ever have trusted with my little boy, and I will be forever grateful for everything you’ve done for our family. We will miss you so much.

Five Stars Aren't Enough for Claire

Claire has been looking after our youngest daughter since she was just nine months old and our eldest daughter after school, and I can say without hesitation that finding her has been one of the best things that has happened to our family.

Claire is so much more than a childminder. She has become a truly special part of our lives and has played, and continues to play, such an important role in our daughters' childhoods. There is nobody else I would leave my children with so completely, confidently and happily.

From the moment we met her, Claire's warmth, kindness and genuine love for the children in her care shone through. She has created something incredibly special at Claire's Curiosity Cottage. Every day is filled with fun, adventure and learning. Whether it's trips to the park, visits to the zoo, attending local groups, exploring the outdoors or taking part in imaginative activities at home, Claire is always on the go, creating magical experiences and happy memories for the children she cares for.

What makes Claire exceptional is the way she nurtures every child as an individual. She instinctively knows when to encourage, when to comfort and when to celebrate their achievements. She has helped our daughters grow into confident, curious and happy little girls, always supporting them with endless patience, care and enthusiasm. Our girls absolutely adore her, and the excitement on their faces when they know they're spending the day with Claire speaks volumes.

As parents, there is no greater comfort than knowing your children are safe, loved and thriving. Claire gives us that peace of mind every single day. Through milestones, busy periods and everything in between, she has been a constant source of support, not only to our daughters but to our whole family.

I honestly cannot thank Claire enough for everything she has done, and continues to do, for us. The dedication, energy and love she pours into her work is extraordinary, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. Claire has played, and continues to play, a hugely important part in our family's story, and we will always be grateful for the impact she has had on our daughters' lives.

If you are fortunate enough to secure a place at Claire's Curiosity Cottage, your child will be in the very best hands.

Wonderful Childminder

My son was with Claire for a year and since day one they just clicked. He loved going to her house and was always happy to see her in the morning (zero tears at drop-offs). Claire always made sure his days were full of activities (park, zoo, softplay, playdates etc., the list goes on). They often visit her friend who is a childminder too, which helped my son develop social :) skills as he had an opportunity to spend time with other children. Claire is very flexible and helpful and just the sweetest person.

My son is now in nursery but still talks about Claire and remembers activities they were doing together when he was under her care (which blows my mind, he is now 3!) .

If you choose Claire, your little one will be in very good hands!

Life saver!

Claire is more than a childminder she has been an absolute lifeline, I actually put her up there with the emergency services, I’m not even joking - that is how important she is to our family. Claire is instantly likeable, warm, kind and genuine. She had an immediate rapport with my son and I could see how much she took a shine to him. As soon as I met her I knew I trusted her with my most precious possession. My little boy spent 3 months in her full time care in 2020, not only did he thrive in confidence, with his speech and learning but he absolutely loved going! Every day Claire had something fun planned. She tuned into his loves, diggers at the time, and arranged visits to Diggerland. As well as trips to the zoo, soft play, parks, pool parties, the list was endless! Not a day passed without regular updates and photos of my little one out exploring with his little pals having the time of his life, I often felt quite jealous not to be able to join them.

I honestly cannot recommend Claire more highly. I don’t have any family nearby and with my friends all full time working themselves Claire has become my go to person when I’m stuck and need help and when I need it quick!

I’m incredibly fond of Claire and feel so lucky that out of all the replies I received when I was looking for a childminder she is the one I chose, she was the stroke of luck I needed and swooped in and rescued us when we needed her most!

The most wonderful childminder! *****

Our son Holden started with Claire after we'd had an awful experience sending him to a nursery. Claire and her super lovely family put us at ease straight away. She is genuinely the kindest warmest person you'll ever meet. Holden was so relaxed and happy in her care, a huge turn around from collecting him from nursery where I knew he'd been upset all day!
Claire structures the day perfectly and always includes fun activities and trips out. We've had so many lovely pieces of artwork and creative things he's made during his days with her and we've kept them all :)
Holden has come on leaps and bounds in all areas and we couldn't be more grateful.
She is always so accommodating and even with food (as Holden can be a bit fussy!) And nothing has ever been too much to ask.
We truly were and still are sad to have left Claire however we had to move and so had no choice! If we could relocate Claire then we would!!!!!!!

Amazing childminder!

My little boy (now 17 months) has just finished a 3 month period of being with Claire one day a week. If only we could have taken her with us on our move to Wales! Our son absolutely loved his time with Claire, he was so well looked after in a fun and loving environment. As soon as we met her I knew she was the right person to look after him as she was so down to earth and warm, she got to know him so quickly and made sure he did activities he enjoyed. He came home with 3 wholesome and balanced meals in his tummy and usually a bag of muddy/wet clothes from messy play, but always in pristine condition! I trusted Claire completely and I would recommend her to any parent. She's so on the ball but balances it with letting them have such amazing fun in her lovely home and garden.

AMAZING CHILDMINDER CANT BE BEATEN!

Sonny started with Claire last year and we are sad to leave her now he is straying reception.
Nothing is ever too much trouble for Claire, from inviting us to park visits and tea at her house as part of the settle in process, to giving Sonny a hot pizza and bottle of water for our long journey home as we commute into London daily from Maidstone, this lady and her family are lovely and treat you and your child like one of their own.
I have never hesitated in leaving Sonny in Claire's care, and can't reccomend her enough. Sonny was always happy and in safe hands, with her providing a pick up service after his morning nursery sessions.
Please don't hesitate to view Claire's profile and use her service. She is affordable and extremely reliable.
Both myself and Sonny already miss her terribly!

AMAZING CHILDMINDER

I can't say enough thank you to Claire for look after my princess!
At the beginning I was worried about because my daughter never stay without me especially in a full English Language environment but Claire day by day was able to make Matilda happy and involve her in any activities and be part 100% of the group!
My daughter learn a lot of thing to Claire, she had a lot of fun and it was happy all the time!
Claire is reliable trustworthy, she is sweet with children and loves what she does, she is flexible and can help you as much as she can!
Your children will be very very safe and happy with her!

Couldnt be happier

Claire has been minding my 2 sons (1yr and 5yrs) for approximately 25hrs a week for the last 8months. I had reservations about leaving them with a new childminder after our previous Childminder moved away but after visiting a number of them myself, to say Claire stood out would be an understatement. I can't quite believe our luck finding Claire. She's become like a member of the family. She never lets me down, I can always rely on her to help me out at the drop of a hat, she is kind, caring, considerate, patient and enthusiastic. My sons adore her and her family and cant wait for the days they go to her as they always have such a good time. I feel extremely comfortable leaving them with her knowing they are being loved, guided, and constantly educated. Claire provides a safe, creative and stimulating setting with lots of wonderful activities for them to partake in. She takes them on outings to the local park, library and playgroups and makes every trip a learning experience. Having someone you can trust to collect my eldest from school and fed a fresh home cooked meal daily is priceless. Claire’s communication with me is great. We make use of all types of technology to keep up on their busy days from phone calls and text messages to pictures and videos which I really enjoy receiving while at work. She keeps great records of my youngest child’s development and we have catch ups to discuss his progress, any areas or concerns and ideas or areas to work on in the coming months. My boys have really settled and thrived under her care, she is an excellent role model, with clear boundaries. She has maintained a professional but friendly relationship with me as a parent and is always very easily reachable, trustful and well organised. She is a good listener and welcomes any critical feedback or helpful information from a parent. I am so glad she's the one taking care of my sons, I couldn't ask for more. Claire is a true professional and I would highly recommend her services to any parent looking for a caring, safe and interesting childminding setting for their child.

100% happy and confident leaving our son with this

Claire has been looking after our son since he was about 9 months old. We felt happy and confident that he is in good hands from day one and he loves the two days a week he spends there. I don't have to worry about him while I am at work as I know he will be happy and really well looked after.
Claire takes the children to toddler groups and does different activities with them and also sends us updates on what they have been up to during the day which is lovely.
All the children are happy and playing and settled whenever we are there dropping off or picking up our son. Claire and her family are really lovely and I would definitely recommend her.
