My Experience

I have more than 30 years' experience as a nanny, and my charges have ranged from a new baby to an eight year old. In some jobs I have cared for one baby or toddler, and in one I had a family of five children, I have worked with children who were on a strictly regulated health -related diet, and with ADHD.

In my last job I looked after L aged 4 and A aged 6, I cared for them for nearly 4 years, and we're still in touch.

I like to take the children out every day. At home we enjoy stories and songs, drawing and playing with toys, and getting out in the garden. I also help with homework and play-dates.

I like to prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children .

I can offer very good references, including my most recent employers.I prefer not to put my documents on line, but am happy to bring them along to interview. My DBS was renewed in September 2021, and I'm in the process of renewing it. I'm booked for my next first aid course at Todmorden college in February-March this year.

My Qualifications

I am Ofsted registered, with the paediatric first aid certificate.
I also have the MNT maternity nanny qualification.
In addition, I have a BA in English, University of Cambridge.

My Availability

I can do after school pickup,{ and possibly also some morning drop-offs,} ideally 4-5 days a week. Can then do play, homework supervision, make dinner, and whatever the children need until Mum and / or Dad takes over. As a non-driver, I'm hoping to find work with a family living fairly my home, so Walsden or Todmorden would be ideal.
Alternatively, I'd be happy to care for a baby/toddler, for up to 25 hours/week.
Happy to be flexible for the right family.

My Fees

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
