About Me
My name is Elaine, and I am a happily married mum of two boys, aged 25 & 22 yrs.
I retired from Surrey Police in 2014, having completed 25yrs, mostly in the Child Protection department.
Prior to the police I was in the Royal Navy, and before this I was a Children's Nanny.
I am an Ofsted registered Childminder. I have completed, and updated my "Paediatric First Aid course", and my "Safeguarding course".
I hold a DBS certificate, as do my husband and sons.
I have used childminders for both of my children, and I believe I have a true understanding of the relationship needed with parents.
I provide a warm and very nurturing home-from-home environment where every child is valued as an individual. By caring for only one or two children at a time, I am able to devote exceptional levels of time, attention, affection and support to each child, helping them feel safe, loved and secure.
I build strong relationships with both children and their families, ensuring every child's needs, interests and stage of development are understood and encouraged.
Through carefully planned activities, outdoor play, creative experiences and every day learning opportunities, your child will be stimulated, challenged and inspired to reach their full potential.
My aim is for every child in my care to feel happy, confident and cherished while developing all the skills they need to thrive.

Previous nanny experience with two siblings 2 & 4 years. (17-19).
Mum to two boys.
Police Child Protection Officer for almost 20 years.
Childminder for last 10 years, caring for children ranging from 7 months to 10 years.

My Availability
I have availability for 1 under 2 year old, to join our little team of me and an 18 month old.
Tues, Weds and Thurs and would prefer term time only, but can be flexible.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Currently
£8 per hour.
Full day 7.30-5.30pm = £80 (incl all meals, snacks & outings)
Before school session - £8 from 8am (no breakfast).
£9 from 7.30 (with breakfast if needed).
After school session - £20 with dinner included).
If term time only, fees will only be for working hours, and can be spread over 12 mths.
Babysitting £10 hour before midnight, £15 after midnight. Minimum 2 hours.
