About Me
hi i am an ofsted registered childminder living in North Hykeham I have been a childminder for 18 years and i have 3 children of my own a boy of 25 a girl of 21 a little girl of12 I am very easy going laid back and very flexible towards working parents needs i am confident in my job and strive to provide a good service ,i live in a 6 bedroom house I have a separate playroom for the children and a garden for outdoor play with many toys for the children to enjoy , i make good use of the summer with bikes,scooters and pop up tents etc i also have many toys for all ages to aid learning i have art and craft materials available to all children ,i bake with the children and also attend some local groups for toddlers and babies.In the summer i also take trips to the farm and other places of interest , I take my job seriously and I absolutely love what I do.I have looked after children from all walks of life a lot of them being children from a military background as my ex husband served with the armed forces for 22 years therefore I'm very flexible towards parents needs and understand
how hard it is to juggle work and family life .
My Experience
i have done numerous courses to support my work as a childminder including level 3 diploma in children and young peoples workforce, health and safety, peadiatric first aid, safeguarding children,food hygine and a fire safety course And I am updating these and more all of the time I have experience working with all ages of children including young babies.please feel free to contact me for a friendly chat or more information i have cared for children from all walks of life including children from both army and civillian life
My Qualifications
level 3 diploma for children and young peoples workforce diploma in homebased childcare,paediatric first aid,health and safety,child protection ,managing childrens behviour,children with additional needs and many more I'm updating courses all the time
My Availability
my working hours are 7.00am until 5.00 pm monday to Thursday but can be flexible to accomodate your needs i currently have immediate vacncies so please feel free to call me for a friendly chat.
My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
£4.50 per hour ,I can also provide meals if required @£3 per meal, weekly or monthly fees can also be arranged i also accept childcare vouchers

You have been nothing short of a blessing, God sent.
Being in a new country, having my first child in a pandemic and working very demanding jobs to save lives alongside my husband.
Worried sick about how she will cope and if she will be accepted
You have cared for my little chocolate like your own, your listening ear and warm smiles, loving little girl and Sam's hellos are worth looking forward to.

Donna is incredible. Words can't really describe how sad we were when she moved away but it means that other children will get to experience what our little boy Finn did. Her house was his home from home and we became part of the family, and her part of ours.
She cares not only for your child, but for the parents too and will always have friendly chats and reassure and support you through anything. She is patient, honest, friendly, trustworthy, calm, reliable, welcoming and loving - no matter what is going on in her own life - her job comes first and she is there. She is very flexible, and fitted in with our requirements regarding transport too, collecting and dropping off our boy as well as cooking him hearty home made meals each day.
Cannot recommend Donna enough. Your child will be in safe hands and love every minute there.

We moved our son to Donna after being with a less than ideal childminder, so was understandably nervous. Donna was amazing, really put us at ease and was wonderful with our little boy. The change we saw in him from going to Donnas after just a couple weeks was unbelievable. She knows exactly what she's doing and is brilliant at it. Going to be very missed by us all.
