About Me

Hello

I'm Ashleigh and I'm 32 years old, I am currently living in Edinburgh. I am currently working in a self employed capacity helping a number of families with childcare and household support, previously I had a 6 year nanny position for three little boys, aged 7,5 and 2 and more recently have been helping out a number of families with both childcare and household support on an ad hoc basis.

I enjoy spending time with my family and taking my dogs for walks. I also enjoy craft activities, baking, and reading. I enjoy taking part in both indoor and outdoor activities.

Happy to help with babysitting - both day and evening (rates vary).

My Experience

I have experience with children aged 0 - 12 years old, in a mixture of settings including nursery’s and in private homes. While working in the nursery I have been able to develop my understanding of the prebirth - 3 curriculum and also the curriculum for excellence, I have been able to organise activities and outings for children aged 0 - 12, record keeping, and communicating with parents/carers and other professionals. In nannying I have gained valuable experience in both shared and sole care, meal prep, establishing routines, proxy parenting, organising children’s wardrobes, school kit and schedules plus much more….

My Qualifications

I have completed the HNC Early Education and Childcare in 2015, and have also completed the NC Health and Social Care in 2013. I have recently completed a maternity nurse course with BabyEm. I have an up to date first aid and full driving licence (automatic).

My Availability

Currently available for babysitting - primarily Saturday day or evenings but happy to check availability for other days/evenings required.
