About Me
My name is Victoria I am 48 years old . I live with my husband and have 2 daughters .
I have over 11 years’ experience working in childcare, offering a warm, nurturing and home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued and truly cared for.
I strongly believe that children learn best through real-life experiences, which is why we are out and about every day. Outdoor learning encourages curiosity, conversation, confidence and independence. Children ask more questions, explore freely, develop social skills naturally and thrive through hands-on experiences in the wider world.
Our days are carefully planned but child-led, filled with play, learning and fun. We enjoy a wide variety of activities including creative play, messy play, small world play, mark making, early maths and literacy, music and movement, as well as plenty of time outdoors exploring nature and our local community. I document each child’s experiences through daily diaries so parents can see exactly how their child is learning and developing.

My Experience
I have completed a wide range of professional training to support my childcare practice.
Due to the number of courses completed, all certificates can be viewed when you meet me.
This includes a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, which is refreshed every three years.
I firmly believe that ongoing training is essential, and I am committed to continually updating my knowledge and skills to ensure I provide a high-quality childcare service.
In addition to my professional experience, I believe the following also strongly supports my role as a childminder:
• I am a mother myself, and my own children have experienced care in childminding settings, nurseries and after-school provision. This gives me a valuable parent’s perspective, allowing me to recognise what works well in childcare — and to learn from areas where improvements could be made.
• I have a creative background and love bringing art, craft and imaginative activities into our days, encouraging children to express themselves freely and confidently.
• I am fit, active and full of energy, enabling me to offer a stimulating environment with a wide range of engaging, fun and educational activities.
• I regularly meet with other local childminders, attending playgroups, forest schools, farms, parks, play centres, under-5 classes and care homes. This means the children are well-socialised, confident in different settings and fully involved in the local community.
Above all, I am passionate about providing a setting where children feel happy, secure and excited to learn and where parents feel confident and reassured that their child is receiving the very best care.
My Qualifications
I hold 11 GCSEs and professional qualifications including a City & Guilds in Litho and Digital Printing and qualification as a quality control Laboratory Technician. These roles have given me strong skills in organisation, accuracy, safety awareness and problem-solving, which I bring into my childcare practice. Alongside this, I have over 11 years’ experience in childcare and regularly update my training, including Paediatric First Aid.
My Availability
My working hours are:
Tuesday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.30pm.
Overnight stays and Weekends may also be considered on a case by case request.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge per session
Full day session 7.30am-5.30pm - £60
All fee's inc meals and trips, entrance fees. I provide breakfast, lunch, tea and morning and afternoon healthy snacks.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Brighouse High School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at St Chad's CofE Primary Academy
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at St Joseph's Catholic Primary Academy
