Dear Parents,
I am a Southwark registered childminder based in Camberwell and a member of the PACEY (Professional association for childcare and early years).
I have always been naturally great with children so I decided to become a childminder and work from home so that I could spend a little more time with my own children, as my job at the time kept me away for long periods.
So after many years of working in retail as a manager and fashion buyer, I gave it up and trained to become a childminder. OFSTED gave me the thumbs up and I was registered in 2003. My Experience
I have cared for many children, most who have come to me as babies and left as confident young children ready to start nursery/school.
In my setting, I offer a fun-loving environment with stimulating toys, activities and experiences that will assist in the fundamental development of your child. I regularly attend playgroups, toddler groups, baby gymnastics, Libraries, Parks and occasionally plan trips to Zoos, Museums, Theme Parks, Farms and other places of interest. All these activities and experiences will help my minded children in their early years of learning and development.
I like to work in partnership with parents as this helps me provide the best care and appropriate needs for your child. Before care starts, parents are given all my policies to read and sign in order for them to familiarise themselves with the procedures of my setting, which are important for you the parent/s, myself and my family, and most important of all…your child/children.
I also run a childminder's drop in group at the Grove Children and Family centre every Wednesday where children can get together, play and socialise and where childminders can network.
I believe good quality childcare is a crucial step towards ensuring that all children have a good start in their growing and development.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 certificate in Childminding Practice
NVQ3 in Children's Care Learning and Development
Paediatric First Aid
Level 2 Award in Food Safety in catering
I have attended many other courses over the years to keep myself updated with changes to systems or legislation.
My Availability
My opening hours are: Monday - Thursday 8am - 6pm, Friday 8am - 5pm
School drop off and pick up from Lyndhurst Primary School, Grove Lane, SE5
I currently have half-day vacancies(8am - 3pm) for any 2 days between Wednesday - Friday.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Daily Rate- £65
School Pick-up- £10.00per hour or part thereof
A two weeks deposit is required at the start of a contract. This will be put towards the last two weeks your child attends the setting. All fees must be paid in arrears at the end of the week/month that your child attends.
