About Me
I am a birth and postnatal doula based in Bristol since 2020, after living in London for about 16 years. Caring and helping for others has always been at the centre of my life and I have always made it a life goal.
I am currently volunteering as a doula / mother companion with Project Mama to help displaced women in Bristol, and I run a Breastfeeding Support Group in Bristol where I am a volunteer. However, I am currently looking for a side job as nanny/babysitter.
I have been lucky enough to support many families postnatally, over the past 25 years as a Nanny, Maternity Nurse and now a Doula.
Among the things I enjoy most are: cooking, music, horse riding, hiking, travel, visiting museums, galleries, theatres, and creating pieces of art with the Decoupage technique (especially painting on glass and wood).
I speak Italian (mother tongue); English (fluent); Spanish (basic), Makaton (Level 1 and 2).
My Experience
I have about 25 years experience in childcare and Postnatal Care, looking after babies, including children with severe allergies, reflux and colic and very high need babies and children with complex needs.
I am a mentored Birth and Postnatal Doula and also trained as Maternity Nurse a few years ago.
I have lots of childcare related qualifications and currently finishing some other courses (such as Post Natal Depression, Birth Trauma, Maternal complications, Reflux and Allergies and Caring for Multiples).
