Hi, my name is Joanna, I live in Islington (Clerkenwell/Angel area), I'm 44 years old from Poland. I've been living in London for 20 years. I studied polish language and literature at Jagiellonian University in Kraków with an intent to become a primary school teacher.
I love teaching, working and playing with children, witnessing their progress and development. All that I discovered looking after my brother who is 15 years younger than me.
I'm a kind, reliable, trustworthy calm and caring person. I love cooking and baking.

My Experience
In 20 years I've worked for 3 families:
- April 2005 - February 2012 - it was a live-in position in Bromley, I looked after 2 children, aged 6 and 8 when I left, I took care of household duties too
- April 2012 - September 2022 - I worked as a live-out nanny in Hammersmith, looking after 2 girls aged 10 and 13 when I left, doing laundry and cooking meals for the whole family.
- November 2022 - present - I’ve been working as a nanny for a family of five in Hackney, looking after 3 children (boy aged 5, boy aged 3 and a girl aged 1 at present).
I’m leaving my current position only due to the family relocating overseas in late December 2025.
I have experience with newborns and babies.
My Qualifications
Master degree in literature
NVQ level 3 in childcare
My Availability
I’m available to work as a full time nanny starting in January 2026
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (net)
