About Me

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher from the World #1 for Education UCL Institute of Education (for the 12th year running!), with a 1st class degree in Education and Social Science.

My main specialism is Maths (A at Masters Level) - it is an absolute passion to make Maths engaging, enjoyable and fairly easy to children (and adults!) of any age. Never ever think Maths is not your thing and you apparently don't have those 'Maths brains' - let a good tutor show you its beauty and, believe me, in many cases simplicity. I also tutor English (from phonics to university essays), and essential study skills.

As far as my teaching style is concerned, it's very much varied and adaptable, as I strongly believe everyone learns in their own unique way and my job as a tutor is to work it out and deliver the sessions in the best possible way in order to cater and meet YOUR individual needs.

My Experience

I've been working with children aged 1 - 17, as well as adults (delivered a teaching training qualification in Maths, Level 5).
I have extensive experience with children with SEN (special educational needs), such as autism, Aspergers, ADHD, BESD, PTSD, complex and severe learning difficulties, mental health issues, dyslexia, medical issues (e.g. leukaemia), SLC, and less known triple X syndrome.

My Qualifications

- 1st class degree in Education & Social Science
- Primary PGCE (Maths specialism, A at Masters Level)
- Music Education (the piano and the violin)
