About Me
I'm Lotta, a 33-year-old nanny with over 10 years of experince from newborns to pre-teens, originally from Finland, but have been living here in London since 2014. I'm bubbly, reliable and organized, and enjoy spending time with kids, which is probably is fairly obvious... Outside of that, I enjoy time spent with my partner, cooking and baking, dog sitting, reading and going to the theatre. I'm also a big lover of a good National Trust visit and a proud member of Historic Royal Palaces.
In the past I have worked as a qualified babysitter in Finland for a couple of years, which required a three-month childcare course organized by a local chilccare organization. I was also an au pair for a year in the USA and for a bit over a year here. Since January 2016 I've been a nannying to several families, most recently for a lovely family with a little girl, now 2, who are sadly leaving London this summer.
I'm a non smoker and I have a driver's license. I currently live near Clapham Junction.
I will be available full time from start of August 2026 or so, open to nanny share.

My Experience
I will be adding a CV when I've had a chance to update it but a quick sum up of my experience:
- A babysitter through a childcare organization in Finland from Nov 2011 to Feb 2013, and Feb 2014 to Aug 2014
- An au pair in the USA for a family with three kids (aged 11, 9 and 5) from Feb 2013 to Feb 2014
- An au pair in London for two different families (first a family with kids aged 9 and 6, then a family with kids aged 2 and 5) from Aug 2014 to Jan 2016
- A nanny for a few families since Jan 2016, most recently since January 2025 for a family with a 2-year-old girl
- A babysitter for several families over the course of the years
- A teacher at a Finnish "school" in London for 3/4 year olds
- Part time sales assistant in a local independent boutique from Nov 2019 to Nov 2021
My Qualifications
I took a course on childcare in 2011 which qualifies me to work as a childminder through a well-respected childcare organization in Finland (Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliitto, or MLL, if you want to look it up).
I currently don't have an up to date first aid training or DBS check since my last couple of jobs haven't required them, but they are on my to do list and would definitely have them by the time I'd start a new job.
My Availability
Available full-time from August or so, full time, approximately 40-45 hours a week
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
For nannying single family, fees would start from £18/hour (gross), depending on duties, number of children etc, nannyshare to be negotiated
