About Me

We are looking for a fun, flexible and laid back Nanny/babysitter/household help with experience in SEN to join us on a Ad hoc basis for daytime, evenings and occasional house/pet sitting.

The role would include sole charge of our funny, bright and curious 8 year old boy who is Autistic ADHD and our bright and thoughtful 11 year old who is home educated.

Our furry friends - 2 labradors (aged 10 and 3), 1 cat, 2 kittens and 3 guinea pigs (seems a lot but they are great fun)

Our youngest has an EHCP but no longer receives his education in school due to his experiences in the system. He is supported with his education by a team of professionals so you won't be expected to provide this, although play, activities or trips out maybe on the agenda!

The role may involve drop off and pick ups to local provisions and support to access activities, play and child led projects or interests.

We'd love to welcome someone to the role who would be happy support with some light household duties, including meals, washing up and laundry, who is also a dog, cat and guinea pig lover as we have a few of them!

We are a super chilled, inclusive, queer and supportive household who love to be outdoors, balanced with downtime for our Autistic son, who often needs to switch off after activities.

We practice gentle parenting and emotional literacy and diversity affirming approaches are at the centre of how we support the children, so this would be an essential element for anyone joining us to embody.
