I'm highly experienced and use my initiative when planning to cater to all childrens needs and developmental stage. I fundamentally agree with the EYFS ethics of children learning through play and I implement this within my day to day planning.
I love taking my charges out to different activities, I'm happy to organise play dates, outings, groups and other fulfilling learning experiences.
I can work alongside parents seamlessly offering the helping hand when needed and knowing when to step back too. Alternatively I'm most used to being the sole charge and I offer proxy nannying.
I can adapt to every child's needs in different situations. I have 5 years experience in nursery settings and over 10 years nannying and babysitting experience.
I offer wedding and event nannying with my team.
£15ph day nanny and babysitting rate.

My Experience
Nanny service- *NO AVAILABILIY AT THE MOMENT*
I provide a one to one childcare nannying service. I always give the child/children my undivided attention and as I have worked in nurseries for 5 years I know all about the eyfs system, which is what nurseries use, to check that a child is progressing well and to help them progress further. This means that I can give a nursery education from the comfort of your own home. It also means that you have the security of knowing that your child is developing at the right stage and that when they start school they will be achieving exactly what they should be achieving for their age. The eyfs is for babies up to children of 5 years of age.
I know how to write and plan observations and learning stories and, if you chose my nannying plus option, I will provide a learning journal so that you can see your child's development using observations, photos and your child's own work. I use the eyfs to check all stages of development and plan fun activities for the child to learn through play! This is all optional for a fee, please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
I offer a stay and play type session for children (and parents!) that may be anxious, or for children with additional needs, where I would come to your house and get to know you and your child, their needs and routine. I know and use makaton sign language, which is amazing for children who maybe can't talk yet as, it gives them the option to communicate with adults through easy simple hand signs, like asking for some food or water for example.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Childcare and Education - Penzance, Cornwall.
I gained a Grade B Higher Tier in both Maths and English and received A-C's in all other subjects at LCHS School.
I have a double Merit in Media Studies Level 3 which I also gained in Penwith College.
My Availability
Weekends, evenings and some daytimes. Advance booking is very advisable as I do get booked up quite fast, especially in summer, but its not always needed!

My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
Nannying/babysitting £15ph, £20ph after 10pm and weekends. Wedding/ event nannying £20ph plus deposit needed to secure the day. Holiday nannying available at my usual £15ph rate with a minimum amount of hours agreed and holiday costs all paid for.
£30 cancellation fee if less than 48 hours notice given. £45 minimum charge.
Overnight rates 12-7am from £100.

Lucy was a pleasure to deal with, prompt, efficient and a very nice person. Our granddaughter had a hectic time with a new baby brother and her first flight not to mention being in a strange house all in one week so we expected some issues. Lucy had the professional magic touch and kept her entertained and fed and got her settled down on schedule with no problems at all. Well done Lucy!
