My Experience

For over 30 years I have been working with various families on both a long term and temporary basis. Looking after children from newborn babies up to around 9 years. Within that time I have looked after 3 sets of twins (although not in the same family).
Working in the child's own home offers the chance for more individual care and attention in the safety and security of a familiar environment to the child. I offer individual care to each family and child I work with. Recognising and respecting that each child is unique. Learning, growing and developing in their own way and at their own pace. Giving them the opportunity to establish their own unique personalities. Helping them to grow in a happy, healthy, caring environment.
I enjoy a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities with the children in my care offering play based learning in a variety of ways based on the ages of the children in my care to help with their varying developmental stages. I also offer opportunities for children who are old enough to carry out art & craft activities, help with numbers, reading & writing, etc. Also providing various nutritional meals if and when required.
During my time with many families, I have taken children to various classes previously including music, swimming and toddler groups and would be happy to take the children any groups/classes they may (or you would like them to) attend.
I am in touch with many of the families I have worked for in the past and have a very good relationship with the children still. Many previous families would be happy to speak to any prospective future families about their time with me and I also have various written references available too.

My Qualifications

NNEB diploma in Childcare and education.

My Availability

Currently looking for a new family or families to work with. I am flexible with hours/days of work but ideally looking for around 3 or 4 days a week. Either on a temporary basis or more longer term. I could also be open to the idea of nanny sharing between 2 families if that might be of interest to any one looking.

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.50 per hour (gross)
