About Me
I'm a single working mum of a lively and chatty 14 year old with additional needs (emotional not physical). I am a reliable and fair employer. My child is not a big tv watcher and enjoys cycling, roller-skating, makeup, shopping and good conversations.
My Requirements
To start asap.
I am looking for an OFSTED registered nanny for at least 5 hours on Fridays, with possibly some time also on Mondays and/or Thursdays. You must have a car and clean driving licence.
I am happy to fund OFSTED registration for the right candidate.
My daughter attends school part-time (currently finishing between 10am and 12noon, latest will be 2pm), so I’m looking for school pick up and care outside these hours.
You need to have plenty of energy but also be calm and patient. I need someone to be actively involved with my child, maybe going cycling, visiting shopping areas, helping her keep herself organised at home etc. Sometimes supervising a 2nd child if they have a a friend to play.
You need to be reliable and organised. You must be 100% reliable once arrangements have been agreed.
You will be kind, fun, patient, enjoy conversing and playing with children, but also know when to set gentle but firm boundaries. An understanding of SEN children would be an advantage. If not then an enthusiasm for learning and understanding is essential.
