About Me

Hello, we are two registered childminders in Shirley, Solihull, near to Woodlands Infant School. We will have spaces available from end of July 2024 and can offer funding for eligible 9 months,2, 3 and 4 year olds.
We aim to provide a happy, caring and stimulating home from home service where learning is fun! Previous Ofsted inspections have been graded as good.
We cover all of the area of the EYFS, learning through play and discovery and carefully tracking children's progress. We provide a large selection of toys and activities, the children enjoy cooking, arts and crafts, mark making, messy play, finger gym, maths games, books and stories, counting, music and singing, building, small world toys, science, imaginative and role play.
The children enjoy being outdoors, our garden has a wide variety of toys and the children also enjoy lots of planting and growing flowers, fruit and vegetables.
We like to walk in the local community and to visit National Trust properties, parks, soft play areas and farms.
We care for babies, toddlers, preschool and school age children, dropping off and collecting from Woodlands Nursery and Infant School in Shirley.

My Experience

We have worked together childminding for the past eight years and before that worked in a school and nursery as a qualified NNEB teaching assistant and qualified early years teacher.

My Qualifications

We have both completed the Childminding Course, safeguarding and Food Hygiene training. We update our training regularly and hold current certificates in paediatric first aid and safeguarding.

My Availability

Our setting is open from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and we will have vacancies from July 2023 full time, part time and before and after school vacancies. We aim to be flexible to meet varying needs.
