About Me
I am an upbeat and responsible 28 year old who is looking for part time childcare employment. I have developed skills in looking after children aged between 2 months-10 years old, including supervising playtime, helping with homework and reading, preparing healthy meals and creating a fun and safe environment. I have completed child protection training and health and safety training.
My Experience
I have held seven previous nanny posts, the most recent being care of a baby aged 6 months and two children 7 yrs and 10 yrs. It was a part time position, with sole care of the children during term time and summer holidays, including cooking meals, helping with homework, doing the school run, cleaning and playing with them.
My other six jobs were with both girls and boys ages 2 months, 7 months, 13 months, 3,4,5,7,8, 11. I had sole care of the children (not all at the same time!), and was in charge of cooking, keeping the house orderly, playing with the children, changing nappies, and helping with homework.
My Qualifications
I have completed a child protection training course and an 8 week childcare course. I have a full DBS check. I have completed a food hygiene safety programme and have a lot of experience cooking for children.
I have also got a BA(hons) from Falmouth University, an Art Foundation at the University of the Arts London, 4 A-Levels (Grade B) and 10 GCSEs (Grade's A*-B). My work experience outside of childcare is working for charities within the homelessness/ domestic abuse sector offering frontline support to vulnerable individuals.
My Availability
I am currently looking for part-time childcare work to start towards mid or end of May in Cornwall. Looking ideally around 15-20 hours a week but flexible.
