About Me
My name is Sara Speziale. I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I'm a mother of four and a qualified primary teacher who has chosen to work from home. I work with my husband, a retired primary teacher with over 20 years of experience. He has been assisting me in supporting the children with their learning over the past two years. We have a lovely Saluki dog called Daisy. We have a bright sunny garden and a large playroom. Our house is very close to the local primary school and nursery in North Tonbridge. We attend forest school sessions and Musical Bumps term time and in the school holidays we visit National Trust properties, local parks, woodland areas and garden centres.
My Experience
I have worked with children since I was a university student volunteering in a day care, worked as a nanny, babysitter, teacher and now as a registered childminder since 2014. I am a mum to four ranging in age from 21 to 13.

My Availability
One space open Mon Tues Wed and Thurs from mid July 2026 8am-6pm
My working pattern is full time all year, closed on Fridays.

My daughter (2) has been with Sara for a year now and I couldn't have made a better choice of childminder! My daughter absolutely adores Sara, her family and all the other children. Sara has been more than accomodating during a really challenging year for our family and has always been extremely supportive, kind and flexible when we have needed her to be. She is a wonderful childminder, I wouldn't want anybody else to look after my child now. My daughter always has a lovely day and particularly loves their forest school sessions.
If you're looking for a home away from home for your child or are anxious about leaving them, Sara is absolutely the right childminder for you

When we started to settle our daughter in with Sara 18 months ago, it was incredibly challenging due to her massive separation anxiety, but Sara was the best! Incredibly understanding and completely tolerant of her (and us), allowing us to take as long as we needed with short 'stay and play' visits - this included us going round at weekends when it was most convenient for us.
Once we cracked it, our daughter loved it with Sara and constantly talked about her, her daughter and the rest of the family.
Our daughter was in reusable nappies and not only was sara happy to accommodate, she was even able to give us some advice as she had used them as well.
We are now moving home and the hardest part about making that decision was moving away from Sara.
We cannot recommend her enough and hope to stay in contact after the move.

Sara is a very kind and gentle person. She is very good with children and is prepared to go the extra mile to help when needed even at short notice. Thank you so much Sara!
