Hello everyone. My name is Maria, I have 12 years of experience as a nanny in the UK. I truly enjoy my job as a adore children, especially new borns and babies. My English level is beginner however I have never had any issues communicating with the families I’ve worked with.This is an opportunity for your children to learn Spanish with a native Spanish speaker.
I am an energetic, happy, caring, fun lady, with lots of initiative. I am a wonderful cook , I know how to make delicious and healthy food for the children. I genuinely enjoy being around children and teaching them good manners, but I also love being funny and playing with them. I believe in learning through play, praising and soft boundaries.
My Experience
I am an incredibly experienced Nanny. Not only have I raised my own daughter who is now a young adult, I’ve also worked for families for over 12 years caring for children in the UK of all ages. I have a particular passion and skill for taking care of babies from newborn throughout their first year of life - either solely or alongside the mother to support her through those early motherhood years.
I also experience with twins and children with special needs.
My Qualifications
I have a first aid certificate and I have a checked CRB that has been processed in the UK.
I also have the qualifications from working as a nanny for 13 years in the UK and 2 years in Spain.
I did volunteering for the Spanish Red Cross for 3 years.
My Availability
I am currently working , I am looking for a family to start in September part time, nanny share or full time.
My Fees
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
I will be happy to discuss my fees with the interested family.

Maria has been our Nanny for over a year now, and was with me from the moment my little girl was born last April as well as helping me with my eldest who is four.
Maria has been an absolute life line. There is no one in the world I trust with my children more than Maria. Her care for my baby has been first class and she has treated her like her own daughter. I was often amazed how Maria could get my baby to sleep when I could not. I have also learnt a lot about looking after children from Maria, she is incredibly experienced.
There is no task that Maria will not take on. She is incredibly proactive and just comes in to my house and knows what to do. She has a great attitude and often makes me laugh.
Her cooking is amazing. Both my children love her food as do we.
Her standard is incredibly high, and I do think anyone would be challenged to find a better Nanny than Maria.
We are hoping to keep Maria on part time moving forward, and that another family will have her - a nanny share essentially - and I would be happy to speak to anyone that interviews her.
