About Me
Hi, my name is Myra. I am registered with Western Trust early years. I live with my husband, who is my registered assistant, and our 3 daughters, all of which are either at university or senior school. I am situated in the Goshaden area on the Ardmore Road, handy to local schools and commuters into Claudy, Drumahoe and the waterside area.
In my house, I have a playroom which caters for children of all ages and a fully enclosed garden equipped with a sandpit, scooters and outdoor toys. I live across the road from a park with swings, slides etc. I also take the children to toddler groups, soft play centres and "rhythm and rhyme" classes in the local library.
I am passionate about caring for children and supporting their development to the highest possible standard. My objective in taking on a child is to form a long-term relationship that will support them and their family. I aim to provide high quality care and education for children in a home setting.
My Experience
I have been working with Children for the past 9 years. I started off as a classroom assistant and went on to set up and manage an out of schools club in a Primary School. I then started working as a nanny in November 2015.
My Qualifications
I Hold an NVQ level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Throughout my career as manager of the out of schools club, I also obtained qualifications in Pediatric First Aid, Child Protection, Health and Safety in the Home, Child Protection and Level 2 Food Hygiene which are renewed every 3 years.
My Availability
Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm.
