About Me
My name is Fiona Coleman-Kelly and I am an Ofsted Registered 'GOOD' Childminder living in Didsbury, Manchester. I have been childminding now for about 11 years, having previously worked in banking. I am also a recently qualified therapist with a 1st class Honours degree.
As a mother of three young boys myself, I fully understand the concerns of finding appropriate childcare. I am passionate about providing the very best care and the quality that I was looking in my boy's childcare provider.
My care is dependable, trustworthy, warm, caring and of a very high standard. I am very natural with children and have a strong rapport. I am very flexible, always fair and offer value for money. I have my own cars and am ideally located in East Didsbury, opposite Broad Oak Primary school. We have a fabulous location, around the corner from Fletcher Moss Park and gardens. We also have a large back garden filled with various flowers, shrubs and mature trees, ideal for outdoor play. The garden is full of a large selection of outdoor toys, for the children to enjoy. Including 4 x sand and water tables, swing & glider set, slide, large trampoline, playhouse etc. We have a gorgeous grey cat called Storm, who is docile and loves children. As well as a mischievous cat Saber.. who is part Bengal. We also have 9 cuddly bunnies, including babies. They often roam free in our garden & are absolutely beautiful. The children love helping to tend, feed & cuddle them all. Finally, we have a super friendly, hamster called 'Anna'. As you can tell, we love animals as well as children.
I pick up from St Catherine's and Broad Oak primary schools.
My Experience
I am Ofsted registered with a 'GOOD' rating, and am a mother of 3 young boys. I have myself used childminders as well as nursery care for my children. I am a first aider and have much experience with children over many years. Our house is full of resources and always fun!!
I have experience with after school children and with younger children during the day.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder and have completed the pre registration course. I am CRB checked, and have an up to date paediatric first aid qualification. I have completed safeguarding training, and also special educational needs training.
I am educated to Honours degree standard & have many other qualifications, including professional exams. I am a qualified mortgage broker, and a qualified therapist/counsellor.
My Availability
At the moment I have availability EVERY DAY for early years children and after school care. I can also consider adhoc weekend care. I pick up at St Catherines primary and Broad Oak Primary, in Didsbury. Please contact to discuss your particular requirements.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.25 per hour
I offer reasonable, value for money childcare with consistent nutritious and healthy food. I accept funded places. Please contact me for current fees.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at St Catherine's RC Primary School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Broad Oak Primary School

Fiona did a long evening babysitting our 5 and 9 year old, including doing bedtimes, the kids had a great time, we were totally happy they were in good in hands!

Our children love their time with Fiona! She is so proactive and responsible, and has been an incredibly helpful resource to us as newcomers to the area. The whole family feels so fortunate to have found her!
