Rita is a fantastic nanny

I highly recommend Rita. She has looked after our baby from when she was 10 months old until 2.5 years old, and we're sad to leave her but we're moving out of London. They adore one another, Rita has been a fun buddy and carer and teacher combined. I have always felt safe leaving my daughter with her.

Having lived by herself in London since she was 17, Rita is such a mature and mindful person for a 25 year old, but she's also got a natural sense of fun with young kids; it never seems like she's forcing it. She's got a lot of family experience of childcare, plus years of nursery and nanny care, as well as qualifications in child development. She spent hours producing a custom development report for our daughter, it was really interesting!

She is reliable, and good at communicating via text or calls, and she always makes the effort to be on time. She is good at hitting a balance of activities, so in a typical day with our daughter she might take her for a walk to the park, come back and do some dancing around the living room to some Disney songs, then after her nap they'll do something creative like making healthy pizzas for lunch or juicing oranges for a drink. She tends to let my daughter lead, giving her guidance and help (and a firm voice when necessary!), so that she learns effectively. She's also good at knowing when downtime is needed, snuggling up on the sofa and watching cartoons. She's often suggested field trips too, and always passes it by me before planning it so that I know where they'll be (the Horniman museum, a city farm, etc). She sends me pictures and videos of their adventures while I'm at work, which I love as it helps with peace of mind when you're far away from your child.
