About Me
Hello, I’m Edyta, a registered childminder in Richmond with 10 years of experience. I offer a warm, welcoming home setting where children can feel safe, make friends and grow in confidence.
Our days are full of play and discovery. At home, we enjoy painting, play dough, stories, music and building. We also get out regularly to playgrounds, playgroups, Kew Gardens and other local places. I plan activities around the children’s interests and help them learn to share, take turns and become more independent.
I offer free funded hours for eligible children. I take time to get to know each child and their routine, and I keep parents updated about their day. I have a space available now and would be happy to arrange a visit so you can meet me and see the setting.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 10 years, caring for children aged from 6 months to 12 years. This has given me experience of supporting children at different stages of development, from helping babies settle into a routine to encouraging older children’s independence.
I plan activities around each child’s age and interests, and I work closely with parents to understand their child’s individual needs.
My Qualifications
CACHE level 3 Diploma for children and young people
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding courses up to date
I regularly attend relevant childcare courses and webinars to keep my knowledge up to date and improve my skills. I enjoy learning new ways to support children’s development and bring what I learn into my daily practice.
My Availability
I have a full time space and and I offer funding hours.

My 2 year old daughter is taken care of by Edyta regularly for full days 8-6. Exceptional kind and patient, loving care in her home and my daughter is so happy at drop off and pick up. In fact it can take a while to leave!
Clean and tidy with lots of age appropriate toys including puzzles and books and a garden and various craft activities which my daughter has started to take part in more. I am especially pleased that she can transport children safely by car for outings including soft play, farm, gymnastics, playgroups and trips to Richmond parm. It makes the day that much more varied for little ones! Homemade meals keep little tummies full all day too.
Thorough communication about the day's activities and any problems during the day as well as at pick up time. Highly recommend Edyta and her childcare setting.

My 1.5 year old daughter is currently under Edyta’s care. We are so lucky to find Edyta.
Edyta goes well above and beyond you would ever expect from any childcare service because she cares and loves each child as her own family.
She goes through all aspects about my baby’s eating, sleeping, development, habits, our expectation, what works practically for our family, not just in the beginning but all the time, naturally, every time we meet, because she cares and genuinely wants to give my baby the best care and our family the best help possible.
She doesn’t follow a rigid routine of going out once a week like many other Childminders. She really considers what’s the best for the child everyday, according to the weather, the child’s interests and development needs. My daughter is out with her in various outdoor activities and playgroups almost everyday.
She cooks nutritious healthy meals with best quality fresh ingredients everyday and is always challenging herself by looking for new ideas, and checking with us what my baby might like to eat.
Her setting is spacious, bright, With an activity garden and well organized, full of age appropriate developmental activities. She has everything that I wanted to buy for my children but not yet had the chance to. It’s a dreamland for all children.
My daughter gets up every morning calling
Edyta’s name, cannot wait to go to her again. And it’s difficult to get her to leave at pick up because she just enjoys Edyta’s so much.
Edyta takes hygiene and safety seriously and diligently get the children to clean their hands at home and out. Her setting and all toys are always clean.
She takes lovely photos of my child daily and tells us in detail how she was doing in the day. Even our one to one nanny didn’t care for my baby in such detail.
I worried about going back to work but in fact I could not do all that Edyta does for my baby when I was on maternity leave. She is that magical unimaginable Mary Poppins to us!

Edyta is a super child minder and provides outstanding childcare.
My 6 month old daughter has been in Edyta’s care since the middle of February 2016 for two days per week and her support has enabled me to return to work full time knowing that my daughter is in the best possible hands.
I was able to meet at Edyta’s home which was bright and spacious, with parking options available. Edyta has provided activities for all ages and runs a lovely, clean, fun and organised house. Her background in nurseries is obvious through her knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stages; the environment is like a home-from-home making my child feel like part of the family.
Edyta has a car, a sling and a buggy and takes my daughter to local activities including gymnastics and Rythym and Rhyme, as well as swimming, allowing Kew, Richmond, Petersham and Sheen areas to be explored.
My daughter is happy when she sees Edyta and when I pick her up she is relaxed and smiling. She has a diary recording salient activities. The other children in Edyta’s care include her own daughter and they all seem like super bright, happy children. I feel lucky to have found Edyta and think she is amazing. Her references held this view also.
