A Little About Me and Our Family
Hello! My name is Sheryl, and I am a single mum of two lovely children, aged 13 and 9. We have been living in the area for almost three years now and have settled in nicely.
I am the sole carer and provider for my two children, so finding someone trustworthy, caring and reliable to support us with childcare would mean a great deal to me.
We are a very easy-going, friendly and relaxed family. We enjoy a peaceful home environment, and I would love to find someone who would feel comfortable becoming part of our little family's routine.
I am mainly looking for childcare support for my 9-year-old son, particularly after school during the week, with the possibility of occasional overnight babysitting when needed.
My son has ADHD and autism, along with some speech and language delays. He is a very sweet, affectionate and well-behaved little boy. He understands instructions and communicates using simple sentences. He just needs someone patient, kind and understanding who can give him a little extra support and make him feel safe, comfortable and happy.
I would love to build a good, trusting relationship with the right person, ideally someone who could become a familiar and positive part of our children's lives.

My Requirements
Looking for a Registered Childminder / After-School Childcare – Rochester
Hello,
I am looking for a caring, reliable and registered childminder for my 9-year-old son, Monday to Friday, after school from approximately 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm (occasionally 6:30 pm if needed).
Ideally, I would like someone who can look after him either in their own home or at our family home.
I work from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. My usual journey home is around 25 minutes, although traffic can occasionally extend this to an hour. For peace of mind, I am happy to book childcare until 6:00 pm to allow enough time for collection.

I am looking for someone patient, understanding and experienced with children who have additional needs, who can make him feel comfortable, safe and happy.
The main responsibility would simply be to supervise and care for him after school, keep him company and ensure he is settled until I finish work.
Additional requirement: I may occasionally need overnight babysitting every other weekend, depending on availability. This would be discussed and arranged in advance.
I am hoping to find someone trustworthy and caring who would be happy to build a regular relationship with my son.
