Hello my name is Lydia. I have done performing arts for a number of years and currently teach early stages at stagecoach; so I'm a very bubbly, lively character, with a lot of patience! I have previously worked with a company who mainly teach primary school children how to cook and I absolutely loved it. I'm quite an active, outside person and I love animals so am happy to do some dog walking as well! I have a full driving license and business insurance.
Further to this I work as a private tutor for Key Stage One children primarily although can do Key Stage Two as well.
I also run my own business in doing Childrens Parties, face painting and character visits - so am looking for between 10-15 hours a week ideally.
My Experience
I have had singing and vocal health training up to degree level and have 5 years experience teaching singing to children. If you are interested in solo singing lessons please don't hesitate to get in contact! Further to this I have taught Performing Arts both in and out of schools for the past 8 years.
I have worked as a 1:1 for a variety of different SEN and behavioural children over he last 4 years and have used this to obtain my Level 4 in Teaching and Learning as well. Being in charge of the curriculum - specialising in maths and phonics. But also aiding them with there social and emotional learning and there mental health.
Although it is challenging; I find it extremely rewarding to see their improvement with things such as reading and basic maths. I currently work 1:1 with a child with behavioural difficulties and have formed a good bond with them.

Level 3 BTEC extended diploma performing arts
DBS checked
Level 2 Health and safety certificate in food hygiene
Paediatric First Aid certificate
Level 4 in Teaching and Learning
Level 4 in Performing Arts
My Availability
10-15 hours a week
Unavailable Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday. Ideally looking for work during day time but open to options as finding the right family is more important!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
Nannying:
£12 an hour for one child and £2 per hour per each additional child after this.
Solo singing lesson:
£20 for 45 minute lesson
£5 to collect child from school before hand
£16-£20 an hour tutoring depending on how many hours required.
