About Me
I have a true interest in childcare and would always go out of my way to fulfill a child's development. I love doing different activities with children and most of all, enhancing the health and well-being. Children always need stimulation which i believe is essential in a child's upbringing. I love taking children out and about (parks, farms, zoo) enabling them to be free and explore the world. On the other hand I'm more than happy to stay at home and enjoy doing arts/crafts, reading books, baking etc.
My Experience
I have been looking after children for the past 15years ranging from newborns - 13years. I have developed close relationships with all the children that i have cared for, making parents feel content with leaving their children under my supervision.
I have 2 young boys of my own.
My Qualifications
GCSE's - English, Maths, Science, PE, Geography, Food Technology, French and Spanish - All A*-C
A-levels - Food Technology - A
Psychology - C
Double Health and Social Care - BC
Qualified Paramedic - Foundation Degree
First Aid
Clean driving licence with car seats to accomodate all ages.
My Availability
I am a flexible person, who is willing to provide help wherever possible.
I am looking for 1 or 2 full days/half days (more than 5hours) per week from September 24.
Ad-hoc availability aswell.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
Nannying £15ph.

We have had the pleasure of having Sarah Bergin as our part time nanny since November 2016. Our son was only four months old when we started employing Sarah to take care of him, as a part of my transition to return to full time work.
As a first-time mother, I was nervous about childcare options, but Sarah’s confidence and ease with my son was very reassuring. My son quickly took to Sarah, and showed genuine excitement when she arrived each morning to our house. She filled my son’s day with different indoor and outdoor activities, and she has a natural rapport with children, giving me absolute trust in her ability as a child minder.
Sarah’s background as a paramedic was also an added benefit, as she helped my husband with some basic first aid training, and again I was confident my son was in good care in case of an emergency.
I look forward to remaining in touch with Sarah for ad hoc baby sitting and child minding for my son!

Sarah is fantastic and I can't recommend her enough!. She is great with my son James, I was very anxious about leaving my son as he has Reflux and can be quite difficult but with Sarah's previous experiences with other children I felt really confident leaving him. Sarah has been really flexible with times andhas been available at short notice when I needed her. I am really happy with the care Sarah has given my son and will continue to use her in the future.
