Hello! My name is Kate and I have a 2.5 year old old daughter and a 7 month old baby boy. I’m looking for a nanny - someone who can have sole charge of my 9 month old, and my just turned 3 year old for 3 days a week plus another half day.
We are a very happy and family-focused family, who love adventures and the outdoors. We are from South Africa and are warm and sociable and are hoping to find someone who is similar and will bring warmth and love to the job and be a support to us as I go back to work.
My Requirements
I'm looking for a part-time live out nanny to work Tuesday to Thursday plus possibly Friday morning starting in Feb/March 2017, hours approx 7.15/7.30am to 5.30pm. I’d like someone with experience of looking after 2 children. The role would involve having sole care of the baby while my daughter is at school doing outings/classes, picking my daughter up, and then play/ outing in the afternoon.
I require a fluent English speaker, non-smoker, with at least 2 years experience with babies, and childcare qualifications.
Our ideal nanny will:
- be a friendly, happy, peaceful, active, loving person who will become part of the family
- have experience of toddlers and babies with all that entails - routines, discipline, weaning etc
- take my daughter to nursery school and pick her up (with the baby in tow)
- prepare nutritious healthy meals for the children every day
- entertain and stimulate the children, with developmental play and outings
- help with bath time and bedtime
- do light housework: tidying kids play areas, load dishwasher, washing their clothes etc
£12-13 per hour (net)
Ideally someone with their own car, but I am looking for someone who can drive.
