About Me
I have worked with children with different age groups over 20 years. The last 5 years I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder in Rochester, 5minute walk from a lovely Priestfield Park.
I live with my partner and we have two sons (7y and 13y). We also have few pets: an old sleepy cat, a bird and fishes.
I offer a good size indoor setting and a large garden area where children have plenty of opportunities to explore, play and learn. We spend a lot of time in the garden, where most of our messy play takes place (we use sandpit, water tray and mud kitchen daily).
Children learn best through play and through experiences. I provide resources and opportunities for children to play and explore according to their age, needs, interests and development. Its all done in a loving, positive and encouraging environment, as this is essential for every child to learn, grow and thrive.
I work closely with parents to understand theirs and their children's needs to provide the best possible care, as each family is unique.
I use EYFS as a guide to make sure I provide everything that is needed for children to grow in all the areas of learning and development.
My last Ofsted inspection was 20th of June 2024. I was rated GOOD in all the areas.

My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience in childcare and working with children of different age groups from birth to 13 years old.
My childcare journey started as an au-pair and a nanny. Then I became a pre-school practitioner/early years educator and now I am a childminder.
I have been Ofsted registered Childminder since January 2022.
The years I worked at a pre-school I gained a lot of knowledge and skills through everyday practice and through the courses I attended.
I gained my FAQ Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Childcare (Early Years Educator) at the beginning of 2021.
But of course I would say that my greatest experience (and achievement) comes from being a mother to my children.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful childminder for our son. He was in her care from 18 months old right up until he started school, and we couldn’t have asked for a better environment for him to grow and develop.
Evely is exceptionally kind, patient, and nurturing, always created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where our son felt safe, happy, and truly cared for.
Communication was excellent throughout -Evely always kept us updated on his day, his progress, and any important information, which gave us great peace of mind.
Most importantly, our son absolutely loved his time with her. He looked forward to going each week and formed a strong, positive bond. It was clear he was not only well cared for but also encouraged to learn and develop. He gained so much during his time there, both socially and educationally.
We are so grateful for the role she played in his early years and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, dedicated, and supportive childminder.

We sent our son to Evely from 6 months old and couldn't be happier. We were nervous about starting childcare so early, but Evely’s kindness and patience gave us total confidence. He has thrived and learned so much from her and her lovely family. She is professional, warm, and truly caring. We are so sad to leave and highly recommend her to any parent!

Evely immediately stood out to me when we were looking for childminders as a very caring and nurturing person. Evely was very transparent and communicative about her policies and procedures that must be followed and was diligent in making sure I had completed all necessary paperwork before my child started.
Since my child started with Evely in 2023 his development and progression has been supported no end by Evely. Evely will always make sure to give us thorough updates regarding my child’s day and she really has the most wonderful relationship with him. We have never had one tear on my child leaving me to go to Evely (which is saying something as usually he doesn’t want to leave my side).
He has learned a great deal from Evely and I know that his days are filled with so much fun and so many learning opportunities!
I feel my son is completely safe and well cared for by Evely. It is a huge decision to leave your child in the care of someone else but I feel so confident that when I leave my child I am leaving him with someone who will always make sure his needs are met.
I can’t thank Evely enough for the care she gives to my child she really is amazing.

Evely has been my son's childminder and occasional babysitter since January 2022. During his time with her, he has shown great improvement in all areas, has learned socialising and expressing his skills, improved his speech and became best friends with Evely's son (they are close in age). My son is 3 years old. Evely provides a safe, warm, inclusive environment where learning happens through play, both individual and team play. I highly recommend her!!! She has been an important part of my son's life for the past 10 months and I hope will continue to be so until school starts next year. To be clear, even though my son attends full time preschool now, we have chosen to have 1 day of the week when he goes to Evely, as she is a factor of consistent development and joy for him and he never wants to come home after a day at Evely's. 🙂
