About Me
My name is Tahmina Chowdhury. I am an ofsted registered childminder in Limehouse area next to Westferry DLR.
I have been rated 'good' by ofsted on August 2016.
As a child minder i ensure all children under my care feel safe, warm and welcome in my home based environment. I provide a wide range of activities including cooking, arts & crafts, role play, reading and writing activities, painting, music, outdoor visits to the park, library and local children's centre in order to encourage the children to express themselves through fun and play.
I enjoy looking after children and love my childminding Job. I have 2 wonderful children of my own aged 6 and 13. My husband also assits me in the childcare services that i provide.
My Experience
I have been child minding for the last 7 years. And prior to that i was a lunch time supervisor in a primary school for 2 years, so I can safely say I have a great bonding and experience with children.
My Qualifications
I'm OFSTED registered and CRB checked and have completed the following courses:-
Cache Homebased childcare CYPOP 5
Paediatric first aid
Safeguarding children/child protection
Equal opportunity
I'm a member of PEACY
Food safety catering level 2

I found Tahmina on this website around October 2014 and approached mainly because she was from very local area and close to my daughters school. Being a single parent and going into a job was a difficult thing for me to do, I’ve never had to look for a babysitter or childminder before my situation so it was a scary thought for me to go through giving someone else my daughters responsibility. When I first met Thahmina I felt an instant connection my daughter was comfortable, she provided with everything I needed taking care of. I’ve never had anything to worry about and I’ve always been updated by call if there was anything I needed to know. It’s coming to 3 and half years now I still have Thahmina and my daughter enjoys doing activities and play at her house. I highly recommend!

I found Tahmina by a providence of God. just days before starting date to go back work. I was in deeply stress and completely lost with this new process for me to find a childcare. worried for my little baby was only 7 months. But the first signs usually never lies. My baby felt really confident at our first visit. not only with tahmina who I can tell knows perfectly her duties but as well with this entire beautiful family from the husband and two kids. nearly soon my daughter is turning 3years if I could just continue as much as I could with this wonderful family I will be so relieve. That is my prayer!!!
